Building a Movement, One Story at a Time
At Youterus Health, our campaigns don't just document women's experiences; they transform them into the data, advocacy, and momentum that health systems can no longer ignore.
Women at the Center, Systems as the Target
Most health campaigns ask women to share their pain. We ask them to share their power. Every testimony we collect serves a purpose: informing our registry, shaping policy briefs, training healthcare providers, designing financing models, proving to governments that investment is urgent.
Unmute the Womb
More than 80% of African women will develop fibroids by age 50. Millions live with adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, and heavy bleeding. Yet these conditions remain largely absent from national health budgets, insurance coverage, and public discourse. Unmute the Womb is changing that.
Fibroid Awareness Month
Five women from Sierra Leone opened up about living with fibroids, the years of dismissed pain, the diagnostic delays, the impossible financial choices. Their stories reveal patterns no statistic alone can show: how cultural taboos delay care, how economic barriers force women to choose between treatment and feeding their families.
Results You Can Verify, Impact You Can Track
We believe accountability begins with visibility. Every woman who shares her story, every funder who invests in our work, every partner who collaborates with us deserves to see exactly what we're building and how we're building it.
Share Your Experience
This campaign invites women who are living with or have experienced fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, or other uterine and gynecological conditions to share their stories. Every womb holds a story; one of pain, strength, and becoming. You’re welcome to respond to a few gentle prompts below or write freely from the heart; there’s no right or wrong way to tell your story.
